Color: Mahogany

Nose: Very alcohol forward, Charred oak, Peanuts, Vanilla corn and Cinnamon

Taste: Sweeter than I expected, very nutty. Butterscotch, caramel, vanilla, and pepper.

Finish: Gentle compared to the proof but still a good warmth and linger. A fresher oak than the nose.

Overall: What used to be and great deal on a barrel proof bourbon before the price hikes in the beginning of 2017. Tasty bourbon that Isn’t mind blowing, but very good.

Score: 85 out of 100
