A step up from Bowmore Legend, this is aged in first and second fill bourbon casks and uses a peated malt.

Mashbill: 100% malted barley
Cask Type: Ex-bourbon

Nose: Light peat smoke, oak, vanilla, moss, and sea spray
Taste: Watered down vanilla and oak, honey, gentle smoke, and coconut.
Finish: Short and light, barley and gentle smoke.
Thoughts: Very unremarkable, but easy to drink. I wouldn’t seek this out for myself, but would recommend it to people looking to see if they want to explore more Islay malts to get a taste of peat before getting punched by some other expressions.
