Bunnahabhain 18

Bunna 18

I wasn’t too thrilled with the 12 year offering, the flavors didn’t pull me through, but I was promised the potential was there in the 18 so I decided to give it a try. Sets itself apart from most Islays by not being peated. I believe they use a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.

Thoughts: A huge step up from the 12 year expression. A good balance of fruit and caramel.
