Drank: Neat, in a glencairn
Nose: Gentle fruits, raisin and apricots with a bit of apple. Vanilla custard and honey.
Taste: Becomes less fruity and more earthy. Chocolate, pears, dried fruits and orange. Dose of brown sugar.
Finish: Sour apple bite, then vanilla and marmalade. Warm and fruity. Hint of Cigar tobacco.
Thoughts: This is a pretty unique drink, and for a flavored whisky I couldn’t find anything to hate on, as my first thought is usually syrupy abominations. I was pleasantly surprised.
