Cask Type: New charred oak, Char #3

Charcoal Filtered: Yes

 


 

Color: Amber

Drank: Neat, in a glencairn.

Nose: Sweet brown sugar, maple, coffee, corn, slight astringency, and young oak.

Mouthfeel: Slight dryness

Palate/Taste: Cinnamon and baking spice, oak, chocolate, honey, and black pepper.

Finish: Long and medium warmth. Oak and pepper with a bit of butterscotch.

Thoughts: Next time I’m in KY I think a case will suffice.
