Noah’s Mill

Noah's mill

Another sourced bourbon from Willet. Part of their small batch series.

Price: $55 for 750ml

Distilled/Owned by: Sourced / KBD

Region: Kentucky

57.15% ABV

Aged For: NAS

Cask Type: New charred oak

Color: Amber

Drank: Neat, in a glencairn.

Nose: Milled corn and grain, alcohol forward. Bits of oak and chocolate buried underneath the booze

Mouthfeel: Spicy and dry

Palate/Taste: Oak, cinnamon, vanilla, and chocolate with bits of leather.

Finish: Hot and peppery, with linger of cinnamon on tobacco.

Thoughts: I usually enjoy most barrel proof bourbons, but this was hot in an unpleasant way. There are good flavors here, but they are covered up too much by the heat

Score: 77 out of 100
