Price: $60 for 750ml
Distilled/Owned by: Buffalo Trace / Sazerac
Mashbill: BT Mash Bill #2
Aged For: NAS
Cask Type: New charred oak, Char #4
Chill Filtered: Yes
Drank: Neat, in a glencairn.
Nose: Vanilla, oak, caramel, brown sugar, and cookie butter.
Palate/Taste: Vanilla ice cream, chocolate brownies, caramel, and over the top sweet.
Finish: Very slight warmth, shorter finish, sort of a vanilla syrup.
Thoughts: This is approaching rum levels of sweet, which I did not expect from Mash bill #2, but as a substitute for dessert, I’ll gladly try another glass sometime.
Score: 82 out of 100
