Drank: Neat, in a glencairn.
Nose: Thick rye and cinnamon notes, mint, and grain funk, very strong.

Palate/Taste: Cinnamon, red pepper flakes, caramel, leather, vanilla.
Finish: Chewy in the mouth, caramel and more cracked pepper, with a lot of heat and oak.
Thoughts: My initial impressions of this are it’s a bit too hot for its own good, but as I drink more rare breed I come to enjoy the strength and punch more. Take my rating below with a grain of salt as it could easily be swayed upon another formal review.
