Color: Bronzed Copper

Drank: Neat, in a glencairn.

Nose: Caramel, mint, rye grains, cloves, and cinnamon

Mouthfeel: Oily, medium body

Palate/Taste: Bourbon like, lots of caramel and oak, with some pepper, baking spice, and vanilla

Finish: Medium length and slight warmth, brown sugar and mint with hints of oak.

Thoughts: It’s a step up from the Jim Beam rye, but is more of a bourbon flavor profile than rye.
