Nose: Thick fruit, strawberries, sherry, honey, vanilla, roasted nuts
Mouthfeel: Medium body, slightly waxy
Palate/Taste: Butter, vanilla, dried fruits, ginger, and almonds
Finish: Medium warmth and length with sherry, oak, ginger, coffee, raisins, and nuts
Thoughts: Delicious cask strength malt, reminds me a bit of the new Macallan CS in that it has sherry notes, but isn’t dominated by them.
