Drank: Neat, in a glencairn
Nose: Heavy ginger, dried fruits, floral cognac, tangy molasses, oak, and cloves

Palate/Taste: Rich tropical fruits, molasses, cognac, caramel, marzipan, white raisins
Finish: Warm, medium length, citrusy, coffee, oak, bourbon cream, Riesling, demenera sugar
Thoughts: Unlike the Foursquare Citerion which didn’t show much of the wine cask influence I can clearly tell the cognac influence on this. I don’t think it was better than last year’s zinfandel cask though, especially for the rarity and price.
