58.5% ABV

Aged For: 7 Years

Cask Type: New charred oak

Drank: Neat, in a glencairn

Nose: Vanilla, caramel, oak, brown sugar, cherry, a touch of corn mash

Feel: Medium to full body

Taste: A bit more pepper and baking spice, vanilla, fruit, honey, cocoa powder, leather

Finish: Just over a medium length finish, and above a medium level of warmth, oak, vanilla, toffee, brown sugar, cherry, honey , and nuts

Thoughts: This is basic bourbon, and that’s not bad, sometimes that’s what you want. Hits all the normal profile notes with a good body and finish.
