Region: Jalisco, Los Altos

40% ABV

Aged For: 1 year

Agave: 100% blue weber

Cask Type: 10 months in new American oak, 2 months in Wild Turkey Bourbon barrels

Extraction and Cooking: Roller mill, Autoclave

Color: A touch darker than white wine

Drank: Neat, in a glencairn

Nose: Strong vanilla and agave notes, oak, honey, caramel, butter, touch of tobacco

Feel: Medium body

Taste: Oak, agave, pepper, vanilla, caramel, butter, honey

Finish: Light warmth and medium length, honey, vanilla, agave, butterscotch, oak, and a slight grassiness  

Thoughts:  I really enjoy this, and for the price I think it’ll be my go to agave distillate for now.
