Got this as a Christmas gift from my father in law. I appreciate the sentiment but I wound up pouring most of this out. He did give me some Evan Williams in the same gift which made up for it.

Nose: Way to much ethanol, rye eventually comes through with some oak
Taste: Smooth to the namesake, but very bland. Bits of carmel and rye but not nearly enough.
Finish: Bites the tongue hard and then disappears quickly.
Overall: It was gift and I gave it a fair shot I feel, but I’m not a fan.
