Feel: Medium to full body

Taste: Young malt spirit, oak, vanilla, leathery honey, highland herbs

Finish: Medium warmth and length, barley, honey, vanilla, oak, and a bit of pepper

Thoughts: An example of a young malt driven scotch that manages to be good.

Nose: Thick fruit, strawberries, sherry, honey, vanilla, roasted nuts

Mouthfeel: Medium body, slightly waxy

Palate/Taste: Butter, vanilla, dried fruits, ginger, and almonds

Finish: Medium warmth and length with sherry, oak, ginger, coffee, raisins, and nuts

Thoughts: Delicious cask strength malt, reminds me a bit of the new Macallan CS in that it has sherry notes, but isn’t dominated by them.

Nose: Vanilla, fruits, gentle oak, very sweet and supple

Mouthfeel: Light bodied

Palate/Taste: Ginger, raisin, fig, dry sherry, touch of vanilla, oak, and cinnamon

Finish: Medium warmth with caramel and fruit notes.

Thoughts: Light for such a strongly sherry influenced whisky, but has nice fruity overtones and pleasing palate.
