Taste: Dark chocolate, peanuts in caramel, tobacco, oak, cinnamon, pepper, “dusty”
Finish: Probably the longest finish I have ever had on a bourbon, this stayed in my mouth for an eternity. Increases in warmth as it continues, with a combination of oak, chocolate and hazelnut.
Thoughts: I’m amazed and how long the finish is and how dark the bourbon is for the proof, they must have had some amazing honey barrels for this blend. Thanks again to my secret Santa in 2017 for this amazing gift!
