Color: Copper

Drank: Neat, in a glencairn.

Nose: Old oak, rye spices, caramel, vanilla, and a sort of aged bourbon smell

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with dry spice

Palate/Taste: Oak, vanilla, caramel, spice, clove, leather, and tannins

Finish: Medium warmth and long lasting, baking spices, oak, tobacco, leather, cinnamon, caramel, and dry sweetness.

Thoughts: I liked this much more than the Master’s Keep 17, I like the dry spice and oak flavor. Most older bourbons become too lopsided with oak, but I think having 10 year juice in here balances it out.
