Nose: Very much a Spanish rum, airy honey, molasses, sharp spice, and slight alcohol

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied

Palate/Taste: Light oak tannins, molasses, vanilla, honey, cream, and cococnut

Finish: Vanilla, oak, coconut, medium length, light to medium warmth.

Thoughts: It reminds me of a more creamy version of Mount Gay black barrel, while decent, if your in the States it is not worth the trouble to import.

Thoughts: Leaves a very crisp feeling in my mouth and a massive improvement over the 8 year I tried

Thoughts: Drinking this is to me the equivalent of drinking a candy bar, so much sugary chocolate. Very liquor like.

Finish: Light to medium warmth and length, coconut, sugar, fruit, and a very artificial sweetness that leads me to believe this may be dosed.

Thoughts: I was expecting something a little darker in flavor given the appearance and age of this rum, but it’s quiet gentle and light

Finish: Short, little warmth, sugar, orange peel, soda, lemon, antifreeze

Thoughts: There’s so much crap in here I don’t think it’s actually rum, pretty nasty. More of a liquor than anything else.

Thoughts: While I would have liked a little more richness in the mouthfeel the flavors are strong, bourbon like, and leave a clean savory note in my mouth. Recommended!

Palate/Taste: creamy, butterscotch, dried banana, oak, coffee, and citrus

Finish: Warm, medium length, oak tannins, pepper, vanilla, and dried fruits

Thoughts: Less sweet than Diplomatico, but in a similar style. If you enjoy dosed rums it’s a good buy, but if you don’t like El dorado or Diplomatico I would steer clear.
